So… you’re working on that VERY first, really BIG, really IMPORTANT complicated-type project.
Or maybe it’s your hundredth, or your thousandth.
Point is - when you go to get those multiple required bids that the accounting department seems so fond of, are you getting apples to apples? I’m not talking about spec so much as… does the firm wanting to handle this really BIG, really IMPORTANT project care about it as much as you do?
Do they want to get involved with you, find the best plan of attack to make this happen or do they just email you a bid based on the spec’s you gave them? Do they come up with helpful ideas to save time, money, get your vision, and how to make that shine? When you come away from a meet with the rep, do you get the feeling they are as invested in your project as you have become? Do you remember their production team from past projects as being invested or just doing their job?
Image has a team of reps and production crews that fill that bill. So when you look at the bottom line, remember that what you see at the end of the day needs to reflect a commitment to excellence, as well as the cost of materials.
